CANAERO Opina Sobre Asignación de SLOTS en el AICM

PRLog (Press Release) – Jun 24, 2011 – México, D.F. a 24 de Junio de 2011.- Al día de hoy, conforme a la política que ha adoptado la Secretaría de Comunicaciones y Transportes, todas las aerolíneas regulares nacionales e internacionales operan en el Aeropuerto Internacional de la Ciudad de México (AICM), toda vez que el mismo no presenta condiciones de saturación.

La Cámara Nacional de Aerotransportes (Canaero) comparte con las autoridades el criterio de privilegiar la seguridad operacional en la asignación de horarios de aterrizaje y despegue en los aeropuertos de nuestro país. La seguridad de los pasajeros es el primer y más importante de los criterios en materia de aviación.

No obstante lo anterior, la Canaero ha señalado reiteradamente la necesidad de mejorar y hacer más eficiente la normatividad asociada a la asignación de horarios de aterrizaje y despegue en los aeropuertos de nuestro país, así como de regularizar la condición de todas las aerolíneas que operan en el AICM, mediante la adopción de criterios internacionales.

Para ello, ha propuesto utilizar las reglas desarrolladas por la Asociación Internacional del Transporte Aéreo (IATA), que se utilizan en los principales aeropuertos alrededor del mundo, tales como Chicago, Los Angeles, Montreal, Madrid, Narita Japón, Sao Paulo o Dubai.  Esto permitiría contar con reglas transparentes y predecibles para la asignación de horarios de aterrizaje y despegue, administradas por un coordinador independiente que sancionaría el incumplimiento de las reglas.

El uso de las reglas de IATA en nuestro país facilitaría el crecimiento de la conectividad y fortalecería la competitividad del AICM frente a otros aeropuertos de América Latina, con los consecuentes beneficios para el sector turismo en México.

Hampson Aerospace Wins Contract to Supply HondaJet Ailerons
