The patent serves as the foundational intellectual property asset in Crosslink's Performance Coatings platform focused on corrosion-inhibiting pigments and formulated primers.
Since 2001, Crosslink has endeavored to develop a suitable alternative to hexavalent chromium as a corrosion-inhibiting pigment for aerospace applications. Crosslink's Corrlink 30A non-chromate pigment technology has repeatedly demonstrated its ability to compete against standard chromate systems and outperform approved non-chromate systems, in both outdoor exposure and indoor accelerated tests. Several recent third-party validation results have significantly increased the level of visibility of Corrlink30A. Currently, Crosslink is considering various avenues to the market its patented technology.
