Student Registration Open for Aviation Career ACE Camp At Fort Worth’s Vintage Flying Museum

PRLog (Press Release) – May 02, 2011 – Fort Worth, TX – The Vintage Flying Museum will partner with the Organization of Black Aerospace Professionals and the Federal Aviation Administration to host an Aviation Career Education (ACE) Camp, June 7-11.

The tuition-free week-long summer camp is for oled technology on mobile phone p://my-photo-and-wallpaper.blogspot.com">my photo and wallpaper students between the ages of 14 and 18 explores careers in aviation and actual hands-on flying in aircraft provided by museum members, and local volunteers. Tours of aviation-related businesses, an air traffic control tower, a mini-ground school and other aviation related activities are also provided.

"The purpose of the ACE Camp is to offer students first level exposure to employees in the aviation community," said Charlyn 'Chuckie' Hospers, director of the Vintage Flying Museum. "Students who participate will learn about aviation history, theory of flight, fundamentals of aerodynamics, the role of government in aviation and the many careers in aviation that are available."

Deadline for application for the ACE Camp is Friday, May 13. Applications can be downloaded at the Vintage Flying Museum Web site vintageflyingmuseum.org or the Black Aerospace Professionals site OBAP.org site. There is a $20 application fee.
