Sunrise Aviation in Ormond Beach, Florida Graduates Two Commercial Pilots From Nigeria

PRLog (Press Release) – Jul 08, 2011 – Ormond Beach, Florida – Sunrise Aviation announced today that two students from Nigeria had recently completed their Professional Pilot Course.  Both 20 year old Adeola Ogunmola and 21 year old Okezie Mba completed their flight training less than six months after they arrived at Sunrise Aviation.  Both students finished the program at Sunrise Aviation with a Commercial Pilot License including multi-engine and instrument ratings.

Ms. Ogunmola and Mr. Mba arrived at Sunrise Aviation in Ormond Beach, Florida on January 15th this year.   They immediately began training toward the Private Pilot License.  Each of the students scored 90% or higher on all of the required FAA Knowledge Tests.  Ms. Ogunmola actually scored a 99% on her FAA Commercial Pilot Knowledge Test only answering one question wrong on a 100 question test.

Both Ogunmola and Mba passed all of their FAA Flight Tests on the first attempt.  Mba actually finished the entire Professional Pilot Course first, completing his Commercial Pilot License on July 1st.  Ogunmola completed her Commercial Pilot License on July 6th.  The Professional Pilot Course at Sunrise Aviation is designed to be completed in six months and both new pilots finished ahead of this schedule.

Both students arrived at Sunrise Aviation after completing initial aviation studies at the Nigerian College of Aviation Technology in Kaduna, Nigeria.  Ogunmola and Mba now return to Nigeria where they will explore several career possibilities in aviation.  I my photo and wallpaper recast">oled technology on mobile phone nitially, they may work as flight instructors.  They are also looking at possible careers with the rapidly growing airlines in Nigeria, particularly Arik Air or Air Nigeria (formerly Virgin Nigeria).  Both are looking forward to returning home and enjoying Nigerian food once again.

Boeing released a forecast in June that pegged the demand for new pilots worldwide over the next two decades at 460,000 airline pilots.  Of that total, 14,300 new airline pilots were projected for Africa.
