PRLog (Press Release) – Jul 08, 2011 – Flight training organisation CTC today announced a new partnership with Jetstar Asia to begin training cadet pilots for employment as First Officers with the airline based in Singapore. The first training programme is set to begin later this year.
Jetstar Asia is recruiting to meet the airline's growing demands, and one channel is through the Jetstar Cadet Pilot Training Programme launched last December.
"We will be welcoming an additional eight Airbus A320 aircraft over the next 12 months and are working to recruit the best talents to join us as airline pilots. The Cadet Pilot Training Programme will ensure an additional stream of such candidates," says Jetstar Asia Chief Executive Officer Ms Chong Phit Lian.
CTC will begin recruiting in Singapore for its training programme in the coming weeks with a Roadshow scheduled for 04–07 August. Those wishing oled technology on mobile phone to attend must register by emailing info@ctcaviation.com. Further details will be provided after registration.
CTC is working closely with the Civil Aviation Authority of Singapore (CAAS) to complete the approval process necessary to operate as a CAAS approved Flight Training Organisation (FTO).

CTC will train pilots from Singapore for Jetstar's Ab-initio Cadet Programme and Advanced Cadet Programme.
The Ab-initio Cadet Programme is designed to take individuals with little or no previous flying experience right through to employment as a First Officer for Jetstar. Training spans 18 months and takes place at CTC's Crew Training Centres in both New Zealand and the United Kingdom.
The Advanced Cadet Programme provides training opportunities for those individuals who already hold a Singapore Commercial Pilot's Licence (CPL) and have passed the Airline Transport Pilot Licence (ATPL) subjects to join the Jetstar Asia team.
Singaporean c my photo and wallpaper andidates desiring to enter the programme may have limited or no flying experience. However, they must meet CTC and Jetstar Asia's requirements for aptitude, quality and safety to enter this comprehensive training and development programme.
Successful 531276856 graduates of the CTC Jetstar Asia cadet programme will receive a Singapore pilot's licence and gain entry into Jetstar Asia on their growing fleet of Airbus A320 aircraft.
